At SKILLSABLE, we are committed to delivering high-quality education consultation, placement, and VET pathway services. We understand that circumstances can change, and this policy outlines how we handle refund requests fairly and transparently.
1. Consultation Services
Initial consultations offered free of charge are non-refundable as no fee is collected. For paid consultation packages:
- A full refund is available if cancelled more than 48 hours before the scheduled session.
- A 50% refund applies if cancelled within 24–48 hours of the session.
- No refund is available for cancellations made less than 24 hours before the session or for no-shows.
2. RPL & Study Pathway Services
Once an RPL assessment or enrolment process has commenced and evidence has been submitted or an RTO enrolment confirmed:
- Refunds are not available once the RPL assessment process has begun.
- If SKILLSABLE is unable to proceed due to circumstances on our end, a full refund will be issued.
- Partial refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis where services have only partially commenced.
3. Placement Services
Workforce placement services are provided at no direct charge to candidates. Employer-side fees are governed by separate service agreements. If you have paid for a placement support package:
- A full refund is available within 7 days of purchase, provided no placement activity has commenced.
- No refund is available once candidate profiles have been submitted to employers.
4. Government-Funded Training
Where training is accessed through government-subsidised programs (e.g. JobTrainer, Skills First, Smart & Skilled), refund eligibility is governed by the relevant state or territory funding body and the enrolled RTO's own refund policy. SKILLSABLE will assist you in understanding your rights under those programs.
5. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please contact us in writing:
Please include your full name, service purchased, date of purchase, and reason for the refund request. We aim to respond within 3 business days and process approved refunds within 7–10 business days.
6. Australian Consumer Law
Our refund policy operates in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). Nothing in this policy limits or excludes your rights under the ACL, including your entitlement to a remedy where a service is not provided with due care and skill or is not fit for purpose.
